Kristy Chapman & Jarrett Stamper
Hello Kansas City! This is Kristy Chapman and Jarrett Stamper, your Queen and King candidates for Homecoming Spotlight 2017. We are so incredibly honored to be a part of the Save Inc organization. When we decided to go on this adventure together, there was no hesitation at all! Our biggest concern is only to do well for this wonderful organization and bring in lots of money so that SAVE Inc. can continue to save lives. We’ve been friends for over a decade, probably because we never shy away from an adventure. To be in the spotlight and raise money for such an important and life-changing organization is truly an honor for us both.
We both work, play, and live in Kansas City. Kristy is a Test Analyst for Cerner, while Jarrett works as Customs Broker for eShipping. Both of us are always looking to learn something new and we love spending a night out on the town of Kansas City! We both stay inspired by all the professional, social, and cultural adventures that this city offers. It only makes sense to give back to the people and city we adore.
We want to shine a Spotlight on all our old friends, new friends, and family who will donate. You are truly changing the lives of our neighbors who need it the most. You are all the stars of this show. Your endearing generosity doesn’t have to stop at your financial contributions. Jarrett and I encourage you all to find out more about this cause and donate some time as well, as there is always a need for an extra helping hand!
Adam Daicy & Joey Figueiredo
Adam Daicy and Joey Figueiredo are so excited to be candidates for HomeComing 2017, while getting involved in helping raise awareness & give back to Save Inc. Adam & Joey began their business together in their 20’s and have been local business owners in the Kansas City area since 2013, they love being a part of local organizations giving back to the community. Kansas City is an amazing city, not just because of its diversity and architectural beauty, but also its community!
Adam and Joey have been together for nearly 14 years and through those years together, during their time as entrepreneurs they have learned the importance of giving back within your own local community. Bringing awareness to such an important and needed cause such as SAVE, Inc. is something they are passionate about. These two look forward to this exciting time that they can help raise money, create awareness about SAVE, Inc., why it is such an important cause within our community and get more people involved in the organization. These partners in business and in life look forward to your support in their goals of creating a movement of support for SAVE, Inc. and becoming your HomeComing Kings of 2017!
Blake Dankert & Blake Worland
Hi Kansas City, we’re the Blakes. Blake Worland and Blake Dankert here, and we’re more excited than ever to be on the 2017 Homecoming Court for SAVE, Inc. We’re both Kansas Citians who are passionate about the social justice opportunities that this city offers.
Our volunteer work with the AIDS Walk Kansas City and the Mid-America Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce has educated us about the struggles and discrimination that HIV/AIDS patients encounter. As a real estate agent and a real estate investor, we understand the importance and the healing that a safe home can provide. Inspired and empowered by this education and understanding, we look forward to raising funds for those Kansas Citians living with HIV/AIDS and those managing a mental illness or substance abuse.
Kansas City is a place for compassion and heart. We all call this place our city, now let’s rally behind those in need of a safe and stable home.
Double the Blake, double the giving back.
Drew Elliott & Jacob McMillian
Jake McMillian and Drew Elliott are excited to team up this year for SAVE’s annual HomeComing celebration! Jake, a lawyer born and raised in KC and returning HomeComing Court member, and Drew, a nonprofit professional and Captain of Jake’s 2016 SAVE kickball team, are best friends who are always looking for ways to give back to the city they love—and what better way to do it than with an organization that has been changing people’s lives and providing hope and dignity for over 30 years?
It’s impossible to not be inspired by SAVE’s work: its history as the first AIDS hospice in Kansas City, its evolution into Missouri’s premier emergency housing organization, its steadfast commitment to the most vulnerable members of our community. SAVE INC is doing so much for Kansas City, it’s time we all step up and support SAVE.
John & Meghan Dudek
Meghan and John moved to Kansas City in 2000 which was supposed to be a layover to bigger and better things. Little did they know their bigger and better was right her in Kansas City. Meghan an Interior Designer/Managing Partner of Benson Method and John an Associate Architect with ACI/Boland understand the need for housing and giving people dignity by having a place to call HOME.
SAVE, Inc. is near and dear to our family as we have supported them for over 5 years. Every family has that one person they love that has suffered from drug abuse and/or mental illness and have possibly spent time calling the streets home. Our family is no different and for that we stay dedicated to finding ways to raise money which can provide individuals and their families a place to lay their head.
Being a part of the Homecoming Court is an exciting opportunity to support the Kansas City community and the people who are an integral part to making it great. Please open your hearts and pocketbooks to support the fundraising goals of our entire Homecoming Court. We look forward supporting and representing SAVE, Inc as your future Homecoming Queen and King 2017.
Genewa Stanwyck & Moltyn Decadence
Genewa Stanwyck & Moltyn Decadence are an unlikely pair that have more in common than you might expect. The men behind the makeup, Ryan Chambers & Ryan Webster, not only share a first name but a love of female impersonation, theater, and advocacy for HIV education and care. The duo has been entertaining Kansas City every Monday night in "the best show you've never seen" at Missie B's for the last 5 years. In that time the pair found themselves serving as board members of The AIDS Service Foundations Millennial League and members of the Late Night Theater AIDS Walk Team. These ladies know that it takes much more than three clicks of a good pair of heels to make it home again so with their eyes on the prize of HomeComing Queen & Queen, the two have joined forces once again to benefit SAVE, Inc.
In order to help those who are socially and medically disadvantaged throughout Kansas City,
SAVE, Inc. offers a variety of different housing solutions – all with the common goal of helping our clients
transition from instability into permanent housing where they can regain their health and dignity.
